Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This page explains what happens to your details when you use the Reso stays site (resoappstays.web.app). Reso lists properties so you can contact or book them directly. The property you send a request to is who you are booking with.
What we collect
- Browsing: the site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase) keeps standard server logs.
- When you send a booking request: your name, phone number (with country code), the dates and number of guests, the room you chose, and, only if you add them, your email and a note.
- To stop abuse: a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address is kept for a short time to limit how many requests can be sent. It is not your address, and it is set to expire after a short time.
Who sees it
- The property you sent the request to receives your details in its booking records, so it can confirm or decline and contact you. That property is responsible for how it uses them after that.
- Reso processes the request on the property’s behalf, using Google Firebase to store it.
- Other visitors never see your details. Public availability shows only which dates are taken.
- We do not sell your details or share them for marketing.
Why we use it
Only to deliver your booking request to the property and to keep the service secure. Sending a request is optional; you can instead call or message a property directly from its page.
How long we keep it
A request becomes part of the property’s booking records, which the property keeps for as long as it needs them for its business and legal duties. Abuse-prevention records are set to expire within a few hours.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete the details you sent, or to take down a property page that lists you. Email support@resoapp.com with your phone number and the property name. Where the property holds the booking record, we will pass your request on to it.
Listings we add ourselves
Some properties are listed by Reso from public information and marked Not verified. If that is your property you can claim it, or ask for it to be corrected or removed, using the “Is this your property?” link on the page, or write to the address above.
Changes
We may update this page and will change the date above when we do. Questions: support@resoapp.com.
This is a plain-language summary of how the service works today, not legal advice.
